Bye-bye to yester years

Yesterday, I started 3/4 of the crown process on my baby tooth. Yes, I have one, and its not the one I thought. My dentist suggested I should have a gold crown given that its the most durable.

Almost thought about it for a second when I realized that I don't want grills. So I ix-nayed that idea. Off we went into the wonderful world of tooth drilling, liquid sucking, tooth molding, etc. I was scared like a little girl that I am, but was hugely mollified by my playlist. Until the dental assistant tried to gag me with the suction device.

1.5 hours later, I am a proud owner of a fake crown. Fake because the real one will take 1 week to be made. And now I can only chew on one side of my mouth, carefully. Else the fake cement may come off. Yes, the fake cement that goes with the fake crown.

Here's to hoping that next week's session will be as painless as this week's. You betcha I will be rocking out in that chair.
