my umbrella gave up on me. The good thing was that I wore a hoodie just in case. That helped to curtail the rain from hitting my head, but not on my shoes. All in all, my shoes and socks were soaked after walking five blocks.This is funny because I usually avoid going out while the weather was less than pleasant. However, since I didn't have a choice, I was well geared, or some I thought with my ginormous umbrella, hoodie and rubber-soled shoes. I guess I was wrong.
