Balance

I was talking to my friend about how sometimes, its easier to be with some as opposed to others. She inquired why, and I explained to her its because I have to watch my back when I am with the others. Something that I prefer not to do.

I am very blessed to have friends like mine. They are willing to play with me and abide by my rules (no caffeine = no fun chloe). At the end of the day, we all have limited time, and you alone, choose the people to bestow that gift. And I believe we all make these decisions consciously or unconsciously. After all, you don't want to have to mentally prepare yourself to hang out with friends, right?
