I think I worked off my kahlua cake with the dancing, despite some iffy company and song choice. If I didn't, I am sure I made good of it while hoofing to and fro from the pottery place.
Not like I didn't have food to keep me pumping. I tried the divine pork sandwich (with the crunchy pork skin), and woofed down a ham and cheese croissant.
In my defense, the food was well-needed. As I was STARVING on Saturday morning, and fatigued after 3 hours of ceramic painting. To think I only painted a mug, bowl and little heart thing is depressing. My friend, on the other hand, managed to do 4 dinner plates.
Okay, it was not just the ceramic painting that we did. We also did some spontaneous shopping at Ambiance. Its a cute little chain with 3 stores. Frankly, I never been disappointed before. Especially yesterday. With the buy 1 sale item, and get the 2nd item for 1/2 off sale, I walked away with a sequined dress for $7.5 plus tax. Yes, it was imperfect, but me ain't complaining.
As always, it was awesome spending time with my dear friends. And the stories plus the blackmail pix, are just icing on the cake.
Apparently, the 20 hours in the city, along with the lack of sleep did a number on me. As I passed out for 12 hours last night. All for a good cause.
