The room was packed with ~ 80 people. Despite the 160 eyes, I was not nervous or scared. Not like my first dance performance, where I performed the Hawaiian dance in middle school. I am not the best dancer (there's a girl who's crazy good), but I enjoyed myself nonetheless. The best part was when the audience began clapping to the beat of the music. That's an intoxicating sound, I tell you.
I practiced a lot for our 5 minutes of fame. The teacher went over the complicated dance sequence once during class. I missed it due to my hospital stint. Thanks to my classmate's cheat sheet, countless coaching sessions and youtube, I was able to pick it up.
The adrenaline rush was ridiculous. I had trouble sleeping because of it. I am already wondering about when's our next performance. Soon, I hope.
