I saw my behavioral therapist on Monday, and mentioned how I have been feeling lost and not myself lately. He assured me that is a common occurrence for people that are injured, and suggested that I engage in meaningful/ pleasurable activities to combat that unwanted feeling.In other words, my doctor suggested that I feed my soul. Not with things like shopping, but something that will make a difference. Which got me thinking, have I been doing that lately? Maybe, but I can probably do more. Somehow, I tend to do things out of need than want.
So I made a pair of earrings the other day. What was interesting was that I had to make time for this activity. But it made me happy. What's next on my list? a bollywood dance class and hindi lesson...
