The phone is not dead.

With the plethora of technology available, some may think that the phone would retire and become a relic of the past. Although it is true that many do not have landlines, the phone is far from dead. In fact, some may say that it is more alive than ever.

As it turns out, with all the emotionless arrangements of letters and numbers instantly transmitted through high speed Internet, we miss having actual contact eith others. Not sure if its the physical contact or the exchange of expressions, but we sure prefer getting together than emailing or texting if its possible.

So put down your smart devices and engage in actual contact with others. Dare we even suggest calling someone? Long live the phone.
