we are looking for creative ways to cut corners just to save a dollar. I was one of them. Before, I freak out whenever I have to spend money. I was like that scary monster from Lord of the Rings obsessed with that darn ring. Instead of the ring, I was watchful of my wallet. Truthfully, I didn't think I would survive so long without doing the 9 to 5. But I did. And I realized that having a latte every so often will not kill me. In fact, I think I save more money now because I didn't feel justified to spend it just because I was bringing it in. I wouldn't go as far as saying life is better now. I can say that its different, which I think everyone can agree with. Isn't that what life is about? Facing up to challenges, whatever they may be.
My rambling was an offshoot of reading this article. I don't have to live in the biggest house. But just a space with my lovelies, and a coffee every now and then.
