Okay....

After trying for the nth time, I was finally able to reach my mom and wish her a happy mother's day. Right when we were about to end the call, my mom asked me to hold on as my dad has something to say.

Here we go again. I thought.

My dad delegates tasks on every call. His favorite is email-related. He likes to ask me to reopen his email account, and check it for him every so often so it doesn't shut down. In fact, I am like his secretary, an odd thing because he can check it himself.

This started about four years ago. And it picks up in frequency whenever he visits Taiwan. My dad likes to give out his email address to his friends, and then ask me for updates.

He even asks me for my email address this time.

"I am going to email you tonight. But before that, can you reactivate my account again? How come you didn't create a Gmail account for me? Doesn't that give me more storage?" my dad asked.

"Why do you need the extra storage when you don't even check your email?" I asked.

"I am just saying," my dad replied.
