We were hunting for a living room last week, but alas, it was not in stock. I thought I try my luck this week to see if its available, and am pleasantly surprised to find the product availability feature that was not available three months ago. Not only do I know what's available at my location, its even color coded to inform me the likelihood of me finding it (which sounds like a bit like a weather forecast, if you ask me). And, it even tells me how many items can I expect to find. SWEET. Now, if could only reserve my rug online. That, would be awesome.
This feature takes me back to four years ago, when we were talking about seamless integration across channels. At that time, Ann Taylor was the archetype. Glad to see that others are making an effort.
