I got up at 8:30AM today, thanks to sashimi. Well, I passed by a Japanese fish market yesterday, and read reviews about how it has the best stuff in the AM. Since it opens at 9AM, I was itchy to get out of bed so I can get my hands on some sashimi.
As it turned out, I ended up going to a Korean market, which is supposed to have sashimi as well. It did, but just not my uni. :( I did end up restocking my instant miso soup mixes.
Super-psyched about my early morning departure from the norm, I headed to IKEA to pick up the rug. I even parked at the loading zone as I knew the rug would be unwieldy. I just didn't realize its size. Since the store just opened, I took my time in fitting it in my car. Had to go home and unload the rug afterwards as it was very eye-catching.
After noshing a bit on korean vermicelli and beef sushi, I went out for a walk. Felt so nice to be in the sun. Been dying to do this for days. And I scored a dress for under $9. I like it because its different from the rest of the items in my closet. Its one of those numbers that is silk chiffon in the bodice and lycra on the bottom. All in all, a good day.
Looking forward to heading in the city next Saturday and hanging with my girl friend.
