Life does not suck

A little update, my dad checked out of the hospital last Wednesday night.

Last week was hectic because I was helping out my friend to take care of her production company, and market/ obtain sponsorships for two upcoming events. What was supposed to be a 5/hr a wk role for 20 days became a 15/hr a wk role for last week. I was exhausted from having to hold people's hands, people doing things they weren't told to, etc.

On the upside, it did make me fearless. I called a fellow Haas alum for some inside scoop on AAA, and was surprisingly relaxed with him during the conversation. It took me one month to connect with this guy, but, it was worth it.

We did have a good weekend though. We went down to the south bay and shopped at Indian and Taiwanese markets. That's when I realized that I missed Taiwan, alot. I made up for that by buying traditional breakfast stuff (sesame buns, five grain steam buns, soymilk, etc.) They aren't too healthy either, now that I am able to see their nutritional content. O well. You gotta live some, right?
This week, my plan is to be out and about everyday. Why? Because I tend to work myself to the bones if I am home. Am visiting south bay because my relatives are in town. Other than that, just taking it easy, one breath at a time.
